Zeitgeist: a changing landscape - Anna Fidler - Sensualists

Zeitgeist: a changing landscape

April 29 - May 31, 2008

The Zeitgeist exhibition promises insight into the recent past and near future of the Portland art scene. Many of the artworks in the exhibition elevate concerns and influences of this new generation of artists, for example, James Boulton’s stream of conscious works on paper, Daniel Peterson’s photographic chronicle, Anna Fidler’s music influenced collages. Many of the artworks in the exhibition exude a sense of place physically and psychologically - Jeff Jahn’s architecture based abstract photographs, Kay French’s exquisite renderings of common local plants and Ty Ennis’s autobiographical drawings come to mind.
